Ever imagined savoring the philosophical charm of comics in a tranquil library, or stumbling upon artistic surprises in a heritage-rich district? Now's your chance! From August to October 2025, the 2025 Xiao Lin Cartoons Exhibition will be held simultaneously at Jiangmen Library and the Changdi Historical and Cultural District, offering a unique, immersive cultural experience that blends indoor serenity with outdoor charm.
"Xiao Lin Cartoons" is a beloved series by Lin Dihuan (pen name: Xiao Lin), a renowned cartoonist from Zhanjiang, Guangdong. His works are known for their gentle, healing touch and self-deprecating humor, merging traditional Chinese ink brushstrokes with reflections on modern life.
At Jiangmen Library, visitors can unwind in peaceful reading corners, appreciating the subtle dialogue between words and images. Meanwhile, as they stroll through the Changdi Historical and Cultural District, they will encounter Xiao Lin's works adorning arcade columns, street benches, and hidden corners. While admiring the art, visitors can also browse local shops, taste authentic delicacies, and enjoy how art seamlessly integrates into daily life.
